Teaching Standard 4: Teachers demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, reflection and leadership.
I am proficient in my reflections to grow as an educator. I take any feedback to improve upon my teaching because my ultimate goal is to continue to grow to become the best educator that I can be. My leadership skills have improved and are still developing as I become an educator. I will lead students in a direction that also allows them to be independent in making their own artistic decisions. My professionalism is still developing as well, the main thing that I need to work on in regards to being professional is consistency and time management. Artifacts 1 & 2: My co-curricular reflections show that I am dedicated to attending school events to show my involvement in the school and community. This shows my dedication to being involved in my community and school to maintain professional relationships with my students and co-educators. In my reflections I also address why it is important to go to co-curricular events. Artifact 3: After each lesson that I taught, I have written reflections on what went well, what didn't go well and how I could improve for my next lesson. By reflecting on how I can improve it shows my dedication to my professional growth and how I can be a successful educator. |
